Welcome to Bahrain, a country full of Islamic culture, offering a unique blend of pre Islamic history. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Visit the Bab Al Bahrain and Manama Souq and walk through the markets built in 1949 by Shaikh Salman Bin Ahmed Al Fateh. It once housed the government’s administrative offices and overlooked the sea. Visit Grand Fateh Mosque which is the largest mosque in Bahrain. Proceed to visit the Camel Farm. Afternoon at leisure.
Visit the old traditional houses and explore the gulf Islamic architecture. We stop for a lunch at a local restaurant then visit Bahrain for one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the Manama Souq.
The day starts with a half-day sightseeing tour that includes the Muharraq Souq, the Al Fateh Grand Mosque (the largest mosque in Bahrain) and the capital mall which contains an integrated set of Bahraini traditional handmade products which may be difficult to find in one place.
Today we visit the oldest and the only Dhow Building Yard of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The high raised masts of the completed dhows welcome the visitors to the busy yard where the timbers are lying around and the melody of the gentle sea breeze tells you a different story about a seafaring nation. We will also visit the Arad Fort which was built during the 15th century by the Portuguese, for a photo stop. At the end of the tour you will the chance to enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.
Manama is a shopper’s paradise. This is true whether you’re strolling through the many souks of Bahrain or through the magnificent malls spread across the country. Today we visit the city center and the Avenues Mall in the evening which is one of the largest shopping complex on the island. You will get a chance to do your last minute shopping and we have also arranged a nice dinner for you at Bazzah.
Free leisure time at the hotel or take part in the optional activities and excursions.
