A shuttle transfer brings you to the southern Caribbean coast to Puerto Viejo where you can relax in the afternoon at a beautiful beach. Hotel Azania Bungalows***or Hotel of a similar category.

Your english speaking local guide is going to pick you up early in the morning and your trip takes you to the Cahuita National Park. Here lies the largest continuous coral reef in the country. After a 3 km long hike along the beach, where you will be able to see many animals such as capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, sloths, and perhaps poisonous snakes you are going to reach the tip of the national park where your snorkel equipment awaits to explore the Caribbean coral reefs. Early in the morning your shuttle transfer will bring you to Guapiles where the hotel bus a deliciuos breakfast and your english speaking local guide awaits you. The tour continues through banana plantations and along 32 Km of waterways and rivers until you reach the town of Tortuguero. In the morning hours you will be transported by boat back to the harbor and you will continue by bus to Guapiles where you will enjoy lunch. In the afternoon you will continue driving through the northern plains of the country with its exotic tropical flora and different plantations before you get to La Fortuna, the town located by the impressive Arenal Volcano. After breakfast you will continue your trip by crossing the Arenal lake and driving a bumpy road until you reach the town of Santa Elena, where the Monteverde Biological Reserve is located. This afternoon you can optionally enjoy a walk in the nature trails of this amazing Nature Preserve and appreciate the wonders of the cloud forest with its different ecosystems.
