5-Days Cruise from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh | Heritage Line

Day 1: Siem Reap – Kampong Cham We greet our guests in the morning at our welcome lounge in Siem Reap and bid farewell to the iconic sights of Angkor as we travel southeast to Kampong Cham, where our ship awaits, with expert guides sharing insights about Cambodia along the way.

Day 2: Kampong Cham – Oknha Tey – Kampong Chhnang Wake up to witness the spectacular scenery at dawn, participate in a Tai Chi class, and explore the unspoiled village of Angkor Ban. The ship sails downstream, offering afternoon tea and insights into traditional Khmer fashion and the famous Cambodian scarf, the Krama. We arrive at Koh Oknha Tey, known for high-class silk production.

Day 3: Kampong Chhnang – Kampong Tralach – Phnom Penh At Kampong Chhnang, a “water world” village, we explore unique specialties like Khmer-style pottery and palm sugar making. We continue cruising to Kampong Tralach, observing traditional ox carts and visiting the “Green School” project to support underprivileged youth. We dock in Phnom Penh, where you can explore the city at your leisure.

Day 4: Phnom Penh In Phnom Penh, we visit the Killing Fields and prison “S21” as part of a full sight-seeing tour, offering insight into Cambodia’s history during the Khmer Rouge regime. Alternatively, you can explore the city on your own in the morning. The day continues with a visit to the Royal Palace and a “cyclo” ride through downtown Phnom Penh, followed by a special open-air gala with a barbecue dinner feast and traditional dance performances.

Day 5: Phnom Penh Enjoy your final breakfast aboard the ship before disembarking, taking with you enchanting memories and stories of the Mighty Mekong River.
