8-Days Cruise from Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh | Heritage Line

Day 1: Siem Reap – Kampong Cham We begin our journey by welcoming guests in Siem Reap and traveling to Kampong Cham with an expert guide, experiencing local culture and the Koh Paen Bamboo Bridge along the way.

Day 2: Kampong Cham – Oknha Tey – Kampong Chhnang The day starts with a Tai Chi class and a visit to the village of Angkor Ban before we receive a monk’s blessing, explore traditional Khmer fashion, and visit Koh Oknha Tey, famous for its silk products, followed by an evening anchored near Kampong Chhnang.

Day 3: Kampong Chhnang – Kampong Tralach – Phnom Penh In Kampong Chhnang, we explore a unique rural village, visit the “Green School,” and experience a traditional ox cart ride before arriving in Kampong Tralach and enjoying a local school visit and riverside journey.

Day 4: Phnom Penh We arrive in Phnom Penh for a sightseeing tour, visiting the Killing Fields and prison “S21,” followed by exploring the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum, and a cyclo ride through the city’s streets.

Day 5: Phnom Penh – Border Crossing – Tan Chau After an informative lecture about modern Cambodian history, we sail toward the Vietnamese border and have free time for relaxation and optional activities, arriving in Tan Chau.

Day 6: Tan Chau – My An Hung – Sa Dec We explore Tan Chau’s town life via “xelois,” visit a floating fish farm, and learn about the local community’s way of life and craftsmanship before reaching My An Hung and enjoying a traditional dragon dance and riverbank gathering.

Day 7: Binh Thanh Island – Cai Be – My Tho On Binh Thanh Island, we immerse ourselves in native life and artisan traditions, followed by a visit to Cai Be and a farewell event on board with music and Cambodian dancing.

Day 8: My Tho – Ho Chi Minh We disembark in My Tho and take a bus transfer to Ho Chi Minh city, concluding the memorable Mighty Mekong river cruise.
