End your journey on the coast in Valparaiso and Viña del Mar, where colorful hillside neighborhoods meet the ocean in a vibrant mix of history, art, and seaside relaxation. This itinerary offers a perfect balance of nature, culture, and scenic exploration.
Arrive at Santiago International Airport and meet your English speaking guide for a transfer to your hotel. Settle in and take the afternoon to relax or explore the surrounding area at your own
pace.
Overnight in NH CIUDAD (or similar)
Have breakfast at your hotel, then transfer to the airport for your flight to Calama. Upon arrival, continue with a shared transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. In the late afternoon, visit Moon Valley and observe its dramatic landscapes shaped by wind and water erosion. Watch the sunset over the desert as the terrain changes color in the fading light.
Overnight in Casa Don Tomás (or similar)
Start your day with breakfast, then travel to the Atacama Salt Flat with views of Licancabur Volcano. Visit Toconao village and Chaxa Lagoon, where desert adapted wildlife can be seen. Continue to the high altitude lagoons of Miscanti and Meñiques for panoramic views of the Andean plateau. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to San Pedro de Atacama
Overnight in Casa Don Tomás (or similar)
Depart early in the morning for the Tatio Geysers and arrive at sunrise when geothermal activity is most intense. Observe steam columns rising from the ground in one of the largest geyser fields in the southern hemisphere. Enjoy a simple breakfast on site before returning to San Pedro de Atacama around midday. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Stay overnight at your hotel.

Have breakfast and transfer to Calama Airport for your flight back to Santiago. Upon arrival, spend the afternoon at leisure or join an optional city tour. Discover Santiago’s highlights including Santa Lucía Hill, Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, and La Moneda Government Palace.
Overnight in Holiday Inn Airport (or similar)
After breakfast, depart for a full day private excursion to Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. Explore Valparaiso’s colorful hills, historic significance, and UNESCO listed heritage areas. Continue to Viña del Mar, known for its gardens and coastal scenery. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Santiago in the evening.
