WHAT TO EXPECT

Discover the fascinating contrast between South Korea’s modern cities and its ancient history. As you explore Seoul and Busan, you’ll be swept up in the energy of urban life, experiencing the pulse of contemporary Korean culture. But it’s in Gyeongju where you’ll truly step back in time. Known as the “Museum Without Walls,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site was once the historical capital of the Silla Kingdom. And as you spend a morning learning and experiencing the temple life of monks, you’ll be struck by the deep spiritual roots that still run through this land.
